In the “orthodontic advice” section you will find a number of useful animations and information packs, designed to help you understand what your orthodontist is trying to achieve with your treatment. Perhaps you have a canine impacted in your palate or have been advised that you need to wear twin blocks, click on the buttons to see for yourself how braces might be able to help you. Clicking on the “other useful advice” button will take you to an area where you can learn about many other dental topics besides orthodontics. Perhaps you are experiencing pain from your jaw joints, need a root filling or are considering having a dental implant to replace a missing tooth. Hopefully understanding more about your mouth will help you to make the right decisions regarding your dental health. The “FAQs” section intends to attempt to answer most commonly asked questions regarding orthodontic treatment. If you have just had a brace fitted or are considering having orthodontic treatment, click on the “E.O.P. handouts” section. Here you are welcome to download and print copies of our own Exeter Orthodontic Practice information sheets. If you are wearing a brace and cannot find the answers to your questions, please speak to your orthodontist who will be happy to advise you.
